June 2023 Architectural Committee Walkthroughs
This month, the Cedar Acres Architectural Committee will do their annual walkthrough of the community to identify homes that are not in compliance with the HOA’s governing documents. Homes with issues (unmowed lawn, weeds, or debris in the yard, for instance) will receive a letter identifying the issues that need to be fixed. Please be sure to keep your yard and lawn well cared for and the exterior of your home well maintained. We want our community to be the best it can be! This page includes an architectural change request form (updated in May 2021 to enable electronic submissions), as well as the architectural committee procedures for inspecting lots and addressing violations (passed by homeowners in 2020). It also includes the October 1984 governing document material on architectural issues, which you will also find in the "green book" that you received with your home. The committee will review your architectural change request within 21 days, as specified in the governing documents, but will review your request and provide a response sooner if able to do so.
